Job Brief
We're looking for an energetic sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects in the education and labour sectors. You will provide appropriate solutions for every customer to drive revenue growth and add new customers to our STEAM programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Make up to 30 calls per day to schedule appointments for after-school programmes
2. Demo and sell products to existing and prospective customers
3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with schools, parents, and businesses
4. Send targeted emails to prospective schools and follow up as required
5. Visit schools and close deals for our programmes
6. Promote and sell short term programmes to parents
7. Promote and sell educational programmes for corporate offerings
8. Secure sponsorship packages for flagship events
9. Solve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
10. Achieve sales targets and outcomes
11. Collaborate with team members and other departments
12. Generate reports on new sales, target achievements, and issues for management
13. Gather feedback and continuously improve performance
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a sales representative, preferably in the education or technology sectors
- Strong network of contacts within the education system
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent communication, selling, and negotiation skills
- Ability to articulate complex ideas (like robotics programmes) clearly and persuasively
- Proficiency with productivity tools and familiarity with CRM practices
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Passionate about STEAM education and its impact on youth
